Muhamara is a Middle Eastern spicy dip delicious if served as part of a mezze but could be used as a dressing for lamb dishes.





  1. 2 large red peppers roasted, skinned and de-seeded or do as I do and buy a jar of ready roasted peppers
  2. 50g walnut pieces
  3. 1 clove garlic crushed
  4. 1 tbsp breadcrumbs
  5. 1tbsp pomegranate molasses
  6. 1/2 tsp ground coriander
  7. 1/2 tsp ground cumin
  8. 1/2 tsp cayenne


  • Put everything in a jug and blitz.
